Boy you can’t believe what I’ve been THROUGH. Did you hear about what I just went THROUGH? I barely made it THROUGH it. Yeah well you ain’t been THROUGH what I’ve been THROUGH. It’s time to change your perspective in 2021. You can look at what you’ve been THROUGH in two ways. As a struggle or as a blessing. Which do you think God prefers? Allow me to enlighten you to something. Self pity does NOT move God at all! Neither does tears, pain, regret or any other emotion for that matter. What moves God? Faith. Why? Because God can fix anything and everything in your life that needs fixing if you will only ask Him, trust Him and believe Him.
And every adversity of any sort you have been THROUGH in your life is a testimony to help someone else get THROUGH the same thing. The reason most Christians don’t make it is because the first sign of affliction, they quit and go running back to their old sinful ways. Psalm 34:19 “MANY are the AFFLICTIONS of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them ALL.” Why? Because it keeps us depending on God and gives God the chance to show us by faith how He will ALWAYS be there for us. And to help us be an effective witness to others who are going THROUGH or have been THROUGH the same ordeal. Do you complain about your afflictions/problems or do you pray and thank God for them? Do you ask the Lord to let Him lead you to someone in similar circumstances that you can use that experience to help? James 5:13 “Is any among you afflicted? let him pray…”
God hates complaining and unbelief; period! So change your perspective whiny and remember, if God didn’t bring you THROUGH it, you’d be dead!
Fast forward to July 2022. One thing I felt of the Lord to add to this previously written letter is this. It ain’t always the devil causing your problems. Sometimes, probably more than we care to admit, it’s your own unbelief! I feel in my spirit strongly that God is wanting us, His people, to get bolder in the faith and prayer and to start utilizing command faith like Isaiah 45:11 instructs us to. Hebrews 4:16 “Let us therefore come BOLDLY unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” Isaiah 45:11 “Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands COMMAND ye me.”
