For close to 11 years now, God has had me to publish an article in Heartbeat Christian News called Todd’s Techy Tips. When first hearing that name, you might think it’s to help our readers be more tech savvy. The truth is it is just the opposite. Through that article, God has had me preaching and teaching against the idolatry of smartphones and the danger of technology. To date, I am the only preacher who is publicly standing up against these wicked little idolatrous devices. If you can find me another anywhere in the world, I’d love to meet them.
Smartphones are the #1 idol and the #1 addiction in the world today by far. They have made disobedient, idolatrous souls out of millions of Christians. They have put Christian parents in a total state of disobedience to God by giving them to their minor children. They keep people’s minds in a constant state of distraction which is scientifically proven. They have caused spouses to neglect each other and their children. They have made it where Satan has the easiest method to deliver temptation to whoever owns them. No effort required. They have caused young, impressionable minds to witness vile, lude and sexually explicit things they otherwise would have to make a valiant effort to do so before their existence. They have caused people death and serious injury due to wrecks because of their distractive powers. They have affected people’s minds by shortening their attention span. Everywhere you go, it’s practically all you see. Everyone that has them focused on them almost always. They have cost the population of this planet billions of dollars always wanting to upgrade to the latest and greatest models. Which is blatant waste.
Smartphones is the devil’s most effective weapon in history for stealing souls. They are the most powerful form of freewill mind control ever known to man. They are the method the devil will use to help control the world when God lets him to come to power via the one world government and one world church. Satan has used them to make liars out of millions of Christians. And just thinking out loud but it could be the strong delusion the word of God speaks about in the following verse. 2Thessalonians 2:11 “And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:” Smartphones seem awesome in a free society but what happens when freedom is taken away and all that technology is reversed to control your every move. You may ask where are all the other preachers who should be warning God’s people about them? My sentiments exactly! Most every preacher has on themselves and you can’t preach against something you do yourself. That is hypocrisy. The world as we know it is on the brink of some dramatic changes. The powers that be who have been secretly planning this for hundreds of years have almost reached their point of attack. And when they strike, your only hope will be your ability to hide in Jesus Christ.
